Kathleen MurphyBased in the greater NYC area, I am an Account Manager with Shaw Contract, a global flooring manufacturer. I attended the University of Alabama where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Marketing and an MBA with a concentration in Finance. Originally, I hoped to pursue a career in linguistics as a humanitarian. Once recruited by Shaw Industries, it was clear that a career in flooring would allow me to change lives every day in another way. The pandemic taught me the importance of the spaces around us. I work with architects, designers, companies, and other decision makers to transform the workplace segment. I'm fortunate that every day I wake up to meet new people, influence another space, and continue to build relationships with customers who have become friends.
